St. Thomas Construction

St. Thomas has totally demolished the tennis courts and parking lot next to the softball field and they have it completely blocked off. The way we’ll need people to go is take Cretin Ave. S from 94E but instead of going down to Grand Ave., they need to take a Right on Summit ave. about halfway down, there is a turn to get into the parking lot (past the tall buildings on the corner) (there is a church on the right hand side). Once they turn into that parking lot they need to go left at the stop sign and right at any point before the construction. Go straight through the parking lot and the field is on the left. There is an entrance on the W side of the field (opposite side of homeplate). They can park in that lot and get to the field that way.

Directions to Robbinsdale Fields

SPANJERS PARK

All parking at Spanjers Park is beyond the outfield fence. There is no street parking adjacent to the park.

From the SOUTHWEST:

Take either 169 or 100 north to County Road 9/Rockford Road/42nd Avenue North. Go east (right) to County Road 81 (McDonald’s will be on your right). Cross 81 and turn right on the first street (Lakeview Avenue, right behind the Oasis Market).

From the NORTHWEST:

Take 694 east to County Road 81. Follow 81 south to 42nd Avenue North (Pilgrim Cleaners will be on the right, McDonald’s across the street). Turn left and then right immediately on Lakeview Terrace (behind the Oasis Market).

From the NORTHEAST:

Take 694 west to Highway 100. Follow 100 south to County Road 81. Turn
left southeast) onto 81 and follow it to 42nd Avenue North (Pilgrim Cleaners
will be on the right, McDonald’s across the street). Turn left and then
right immediately on Lakeview Terrace (behind the Oasis Market).

From the SOUTHEAST:

Since Broadway/81 is under construction and is also very congested, I’m recommending that you follow 94 north out of Minneapolis all the way to the Dowling Avenue exit. Turn left on Dowling and follow it to Victory Memorial Parkway. Turn right (north) on the parkway and follow it to 45th Avenue North. Turn left and follow 45th (the name will change to Lake Drive) and you will see Spanjers Park on your left. When you get to the right
field fence, turn left onto Lakeview Avenue.

THE PARKING LOT IS BETWEEN THE FIELD AND THE ROBBINSDALE CITY HALL. THE ONLY ACCESS IS FROM LAKEVIEW AVENUE.

On Monday, June 11, Spanjers is not available, so we will play at Lakeview Terrace. You can see from the map that it is just a few blacks south of Spanjers, and there is parking both north and south of the field.

From the SOUTHWEST:

Exit 169 or 100 on 36th Avenue North instead of Cty. 9/Rockford/42nd. You will see the park when you get to County 81. Cross 81 and follow the curve to the parking entrance or turn left on 81 and then right into the frontage road parking area.

From the NORTHWEST and NORTHEAST:

Continue down County 81 a few more blocks until you get to 36th Avenue North. Turn left and follow the curve to the parking entrance.

From the SOUTHEAST:

Turn LEFT onto Victory Memorial Parkway and then right on 36th Avenue North.
36th will end at Beard, just above the parking area. Turn left and go one
block. Turn right and enter the parking lot almost immediately.
